Bin Zhou (zhoub@psych.ac.cn)

Bin received his BS and MS in Psychology from Peking University and PhD in Human Biology from the University of Munich. He is currently an associate investigator in the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the temporal properties of olfactory perception. 

Kepu Chen (chenkp@psych.ac.cn)

Kepu received his BS in Material Physics from Beijing Normal University and PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology at Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he is currently an assistant investigator. He studies the crossmodal integration between olfaction and vision and is also interested in the impact of chemosignals on social behavior.

Yuli Wu (wuyl@psych.ac.cn)

Yuli earned his BS in Psychology from Jilin University and his PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is interested in how people navigate their surroundings using their sense of smell.

Xiaoyue Chang (changxiaoyue@ucas.ac.cn)

Xiaoyue earned her BS in Psychology from Jilin University and her PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests lie in the olfactory functions in health and disease.

Fei Gu (guf@psych.ac.cn)

Fei received his BS in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Beijing Normal University. He is exploring how odorant structure and olfactory valence are represented in the brain.

Huibang Tan (tanhb@psych.ac.cn)

Huibang received his BS in Psychology from South China Normal University. He is broadly interested in human olfaction, emotion, and social behavior.

Chen Xing (xingchen@psych.ac.cn)

Chen earned her BS in Preventive Medicine, with a minor in Psychology, from Peking University. She is particularly interested in the vividness of odor imagery and the role of respiratory phase in human olfactory perception.

Tengxiao Liang (liangtengxiao18@mails.ucas.ac.cn)

Tengxiao earned his BS in Biological Science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently studying the characteristics and neural mechanisms of olfactory working memory.

Rui Chen (chenr@psych.ac.cn)

Rui earned his BS in Psychology, with a minor in Data Science, from Beijing Normal University. He is examining the perception of odor mixtures.

Qingjing Liu (liuqj@psych.ac.cn)

Qingjing received her BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Tongji University. She is currently spearheading a project on olfactory training. In the meantime, she is also working on understanding the neural correlates of the idiosyncrasies in odor perception.

Jinhui Guo (guojh@psych.ac.cn)

Jinhui received his BS in Psychology from Northwest Normal University. He is interested in time perception and interoception.

Meihe Huang

Meihe received her BS in Psychology from Jilin University. She has been helping out in the lab for the past year as an undergraduate research assistant and will formally join the lab as a graduate student in the fall of 2024.

Luyi Zhou

Luyi received her MS in Applied Psychology from Southwest University. She is broadly interested in human olfaction, nutrition, emotion, and their interplays.

Houyi Huang

Houyi received her BS in Psychology from Shenzhen University. She is interested in how we discriminate and interpret different smells.
