Bin Zhou (zhoub@psych.ac.cn)

Bin received his BS and MS in Psychology from Peking University and PhD in Human Biology from the University of Munich. He is currently an assistant investigator in the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the temporal properties of olfactory perception. 

Kepu Chen (chenkp@psych.ac.cn)

Kepu received his BS in Material Physics from Beijing Normal University and PhD in Psychology from the Institute of Psychology at Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he is currently an assistant investigator. He studies the crossmodal integration between olfaction and vision and is also interested in the impact of chemosignals on social behavior.

Guo Feng (fengg@psych.ac.cn)

Guo received her BS in Psychology from Capital Normal University. She is interested in basic olfactory properties and sensory integration, and has been working on olfactory learning.

Wei Chen (chenwei@psych.ac.cn)

Wei received her BS in Psychology from Southwest Jiaotong University. She has been working on the interactions between olfaction and emotion. She is also interested in the interplays between olfaction and other sensory systems. Wei yearns to become a scientist in the future.

Yuan Zhuang (zhuangy@psych.ac.cn)

Yuan received her BS in Psychology from South China Normal Univeristy. She is interested in how we sense the (chemical) world by the nose, a.k.a, odor coding.

Yuting Ye (yeyt@psych.ac.cn)

Yuting received her BS in Psychology from Beijing Normal University. She finds it fascinating that humans communicate social information via olfaction.


Past Lab Members

Jue Xie

Jue was a research assistant in the lab from 2010 to 2011. She is now a graduate student in Neuroscience at Washington University in St. Louis.

Yixuan Long

Yixuan worked in the lab from 2011 to 2012. She was later accepted by Harvard Law School.

Xiaomeng Zhang

Xiaomeng joined the lab in 2009 as an undergraduate research assistant and graduated in 2013 with a MS in Psychology. She now works at Baidu UE.
